The Cryptic Councils in Tasmania operate under one
of two jurisdictions within Tasmania.
The District Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Tasmania, operating under the Supreme Grand Royal Arch Chapter Scottish Constitution, proudly celebrated its 100 years operation In 2008.In the same year, the Supreme Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Tasmania was consecrated. Each jurisdiction provides for the working of the Degrees of Royal Master, Select Master and Super Excellent Master. For the Tasmanian Constitution an additional degree of Most Excellent Master has been added to the Series.

Chapter No.1 TC – Cryptic Council Series It meets at the Launceston Masonic Centre, 39 Brisbane Street, Launceston on the 3rd Thursday of February, April, June, August, and December. It tyles at 7.30pm. Meetings of the Lodge or the Council are advised in the regular Notice Paper of the Chapter.
